10 US TROOPS START MISSION IN POLAND

KOKH TV Oklahoma City on November 10, 2012, published an AP report on a unit of 10 U.S. airmen arriving at an air base in Poland for what will be the first permanent U.S. military presence in the country.

The troops arrived at the air base in Lask, in central Poland, with two U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jets and a Hercules transport plane.

U.S. Ambassador Stephen D. Mull, U.S. commander in Europe, Admiral James Stavridis and Poland’s Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak attended the ceremony that also included a Polish military parade.
